Holy Trinity Hospital in Chisinau to receive coronavirus patients
From August 1, the Holy Trinity Hospital in Chisinau will also receive coronavirus-infected patients. Mayor Ion Ceban announced during the mayor's office meeting that the decision was taken within the Extraordinary National Public Health Commission amid the increased cases of coronavirus infection.
Thus, the medical institution will be completed with 170 beds, of which 18 in the intensive care unit.
The mayor specified that the hospital will keep its emergency profile, and the entrance for coronavirus patients will be separated. For this purpose, an access road for ambulances from N. Dimo Street and a new space for hospitalizations are to be arranged. Ion Ceban requested that the estimate of expenses for these works be presented as soon as possible.
