Number of patients infected with enterovirus is threatening. According to the data presented by the Municipal Public Health Center, in the first ten days of July there were 69 cases of illness, compared to 52 cases in last month.
The most affected by this dangerous disease are children, doctors say.
Carolina Talmaci has two children both arriving at the Municipal Clinical Hospital for Contagious Disease after diagnosis of fever and headaches.
Doctors say that the disease develops within 10 days and is manifested by abdominal pain, repeated vomiting, dizziness, fever and red eyes. Maladia can cause meningitis, myocarditis, encephalitis and hepatitis.
