There are 48 cases of seasonal influenza recorded in Moldova between March 11-17, according to the National Public Health Agency.

Over 9,000 cases of upper respiratory tract infections and 434 cases of severe acute respiratory infections are also recorded during this period.  

The epidemiological situation with the flu is at a low intensity level.

Between 1 October 2018 and 17 March 2019, there were 2,071 cases of influenza, 235,289 cases of upper respiratory tract infection and 11,365 cases of severe acute respiratory infections.
