Iurie Ciocan named as director of Reform Implementation Centre
Iurie Ciocan was named as director of Reform Implementation Centre. The announcement was made by prime minister Pavel Filip during the meeting of Ministers Cabinet.
Ciocan was president of Central Election Commission from 2011 until 2016.
The new centre constituted by Government will evaluate the degree of reforms implementation by public institutions and when needed will intervene with solutions for overcoming the problems appeared.
Also, the representatives of the group will cooperate with the profile international institutions, in order to take from them best practices on administration and attraction of foreign assistance.
The Reform Implementation Centre was created to ensure a better fulfillment of aims of the Government Activity Program and the Strategy on public administration reform.
This kind of structures are already formed in several European countries like Romania, Ukraine and Serbia.
