Kiev turn on green light to create a common border crossing point between Moldova and Ukraine.
Ukraine government has signed the agreement regarding this plan, stipulating there is only one control filter at the border, instead of two, as it is now.
The neighboring government believes this will improve the relations between Moldova and Ukraine.
On 17 July, Prime Minister Pavel Filip and the leader of Kiev, Petro Poroshenko, inaugurated the joint "Pervomaisc-Cuciurgan" pass.
The project was implemented with the support of the European Union. Common Moldovan-Ukrainian posts are also in Briceni-Rosoşani, Criva-Mămăligă, Larga-Kelminţi and Giurgiulesti-Reni.
