Law enforcement from Drochia have detected around 3 000 plants similar to cannabis, cultivated and grown among rows of sugar beet. The land, with a surface of over 20 hectares, was discovered in Gribova village, Drochia.

Police officers established that the land was well taken care of, including the cannabis.

The cannabis was seized and sent to the forensics.

Law enforcement are investigating the case, while the land owner, if found guilty, risks to spend the next 7 to 15 years in prison.
