The Foreign Ministry condemns and provokes as provocative the allegations that Chisinau violates the rights of the inhabitants of the Transnistrian region. A speech with more accusations was made even at the UN Human Rights Council by the so-called Tiraspol representative in Moscow.

In this respect, Moldovan diplomacy will reiterate its request to the leadership of the Russian Federation to stop the activity of the Moscow controversial representation of the "Transnistrian Foundation for the Development of Social and Cultural Relations", which is claimed to be an official representation of the region.

"The Moldovan authorities restrict the rights of transdniestrians to freedom of movement, security and personal integrity, entrepreneurial and work initiative, education and career choice, foreign economic activity and international communication," said Leonid Manakov, Tiraspol's representative in Moscow.

The so-called Tiraspol representative in Moscow, Leonid Manakov, also requested the opening of an official UN office on the left bank of the Dniester River.

The foreign ministry announced in a press release that it is trying to distort the actions taken by the Republic of Moldova on the observance and protection of human rights throughout the country, including in the Transnistrian region. The Moldovan diplomacy has characterized as provocative such speeches from the stand of an international organization.

Moreover, the Foreign Ministry considers absolutely unacceptable the use by non-governmental organizations from the Russian Federation as exponents of the anti-constitutional regime in Tiraspol for political purposes that would cooperate with the UN structures. 

Therefore, it will reiterate the Moldovan authorities' approach to the leadership of the Russian Federation on the cease of the controversial representation in Moscow, opened in January.

Chisinau and Tiraspol signed several Protocols during the Government of Filip, which allowed the registration of cars in the Transnistrian region by offering neutral numbers at the offices of the Public Services Agency opened in Tiraspol and Ribnita.

Thus, they can circulate without restrictions abroad. Also, the diplomas awarded by the University of Tiraspol are recognized by Chisinau.

At the same time, after a 25-year out of operation, the bridge over the Dniester, which connects the villages of Gura Bâcului and Bacioc, was opened, thus eliminating certain traffic barriers of the citizens on both sides.
