A Dacia Daster car was hit at the railway crossing near the village of Varniţa by the train on the Chisinau - Odessa race. The incident took place this morning. The car was dragged tens of meters on the rail.

According to the police, the driver of the car did not comply with the traffic rules. He would have crossed the red light at the traffic light. Following the impact, the man died on the spot.
