Men tried to bring in weapons and cigarettes. Criminal cases were opened and fines were applied.

In the first case, at the Sculeni checkpoint, two undeclared pneumatic arms were tracked. In this case two Moldovan citizens, passengers of a minibus coming from Czech Republic are documented.

Another attempt of introduction goods into the country was prevented by inspectors customs post at Hîrbovăţ village, who found a bus and a pneumatic gun. The goods belonged to a fellow countryman of 18-year-old who was on board of a bus on the route Odessa - Chisinau.

Under the procedure, the goods were taken and sent for expertise and people risk liability under applicable law.
