Moldova President, Igor Dodon threatens to demote the military group and their superiors if anyone joins Rapid Trident drill in Ukraine. Checks will be carried out to find out absentees, announces speaker of Igor Dodon, Ion Ceban.
The reaction comes after a contingent of 57 soldiers left for training in Ukraine, based on a government decision, despite the fact that the head of state had opposed it. Representatives of the Ministry of Defense have not yet commented on the Presidency's statements.
We specify that the National Army's military has been participating in this training since 1996. The purpose of the exercises is to develop skills and diversify combat tactics, exchange experience and promote the army images.
