The Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection is to purchase another batch of 100,000 COVID-19 diagnostic tests.

At the same time, 8 resuscitation ambulances will be purchased for newborns and adults, infusomat, patient monitors, ventilators, mobile radiography devices, electrocardiographs and consumables to ensure the laboratory diagnosis of COVID-19 infection.

The equipment and tests will be procured within the project financed by the World Bank "Emergency response to COVID-19 in the Republic of Moldova" worth 52.9 million euros.

So far, the project has purchased protective equipment (overalls, gowns) that have been distributed to all medical institutions in the country.

Likewise, ANSP laboratories were equipped with reagents, consumables and 100 thousand tests for COVID-19 infection. Also, the municipal, republican and district hospitals were equipped with 150 pulse oximeters and 194 beds for intensive care.
