Moldovan Health Minister Viorica Dumbrăveanu has made this announcement on March 10 in a press conference. 

According to the minister, the National Focal Point called for the cessation of all mass gathering events, based on the recommendations of the World Health Organization.

Also, the Mărţişor international festival and the Moldexpo Exhibition center in Chisinau will be canceled.
