The consular services within the Moldovan Embassy in France will be suspended from tomorrow until March 24th. The announcement was made by representatives of the Moldovan Ministry, as the number of coronavirus contamination surged in France. 

According to the ministry, this period could be extended depending on the evolution of the epidemiological situation and the recommendations of the relevant authorities.

The consular section will operate in an extraordinary regime only for the most urgent situations, with prior appointment at the telephone number: + 33 6 23 12 76 05.

It will only activate in the following cases:

- issuing the travel document for urgent departure in the Republic of Moldova (documentary proof);

- accident, deaths;

- natural calamities.
