Moldovan athlete Roman Prodius ranked 105 at Olympic marathon
Roman Prodius ended developments at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Our athlete was ranked 105 in the marathon.
Prodius covered a distance of 42 kilometers and 195 meters in 2:27 minutes and one second, reaching the finish with a delay of about 19 minutes to Olympic champion Eliud Kipchoge of Kenya.
Also wrestler Nicolae Ceban, had a below expectations development in the 97 kg category.
Our athlete lost with the score 3-1 to the representative of Romania, Saritov Albert, who is originally from Daghestan.
