The US delegation authoritatively leads in the Olympic Games ranking on Wednesday, after 12 days of competitions, while Moldova is ranked on the 70th position.

The US team has 30 gold medals, 32 silver and 31 bronze medals, followed by Great Britain and China.

Moldova so far, has only one bronze medal, obtained in the simple canoe sample by Serghei Tarnovschi in the distance of 1,000 meters. No less than 80 countries won at least one medal at the Olympic Games in Rio.
