Moldovan government approves new criteria of selecting the best entrepreneurs
The cabinet, at a today meeting, approved a string of amendments to the regulation of carrying out the contest, The Best Entrepreneur of the Small and Medium Enterprises Sector, annually organized under the government’s patronage, Moldpres reports.
The document sets new criteria of selecting the winners; therefore, the entrepreneurs will be evaluated depending on the total volume of investments, turnover, sum of taxes paid, as well as on the number of employees and new jobs created. Another index in determining the best entrepreneur will be the volume of resources allocated to settle the problems from the settlement where they work.
At the same time, the list of nominalizations for which business people may submit their file has been updated. Thus, three new categories were included: the best entrepreneur in the rural tourism sector, in the consultancy services sphere and implementer of the “green” economic model.
The contest, The Best Entrepreneur of the Small and Medium Enterprises Sector, is annually organized by the Economics Ministry and local public authorities. Its goal is to stimulate the development of entrepreneurship, as well as to promote products and services of Moldovan economic agents.
Micro, small and medium enterprises from Moldova, which are not under insolvency process and have no debts to the state budget, can participate in the contest.
