Moldovan PM provides education softs to lower grades of all schools from central district
Prime Minister Pavel Filip today met employees of the education field at a working visit to the central Nisporeni district. The PM conveyed them congratulations and wishes of good on the occasion of teachers’ professional day, Moldpres informs.
The prime minister voiced respect for the work carried out by teachers to educate and professionally form the young generation. “I am aware that the teacher presently is not remunerated as he/she should be, the conditions in which you work are not quite good. We are set to change these things, as well as to improve the status of the teacher,” the PM noted.
At the same time, Pavel Filip said the government had a complex approach on the modernization of the education system, including through investments to train teachers and ensure an efficient system of awarding the performance. “The government I lead has as priority education and it will do its utmost for you to feel the respect and care of the state,” Filip stressed.
In the end of the meeting, the prime minister wished the teachers health, success, perseverance and inspiration, and donated education softs for the lower grades of all schools from the district.
There are 33 schools in the Nisporeni district, where over 7,000 pupils study and about 1,000 teachers work.
