Moldovan robotic enthusiasts create smart installation to feed birds
A group of teenagers passionate about robotics have found a clever solution to make feeding birds a little bit easier. They created a nourishing-flying robot equipped with a reservoir for seed set and details of the invention bird life.
The robot was created by the team "RoboRangers". The intelligent facility is equipped with a mini-computer that records what birds come to peck the seeds.
The inventors believe that the device is useful both for ordinary people, and for the Society for the Protection of Birds and Nature. The camera installed inside the box can be collected interesting data about the species that live in our areas.
The installation costs around 2,700 lei, but they hope that in the future, the device will be made from cheaper materials that will reduce the price.
