Moldovan specialists in human trafficking prevention to join course by U.S trainers
U.S trainers will provide course to 42 Moldovan specialists in human trafficking prevention.
Minister of Internal Affairs, Alexandru Jizdan, participated today at the opening of the training course "Trafficking in human beings", organized with the support of the US Embassy, within the Center for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings of the National Investigation Inspectorate of PGI.
IGP Chief, Alexandru Pînzari, US Ambassador to Chisinau, Julie Stuff, and INL Director of Moldova Timothy Buckley also attended the event.
"We thank the US Embassy partners for their support. Moldova is a well-trained, experienced state. It has been certified as a function of state structures in the past years. We'll develop all services, particularly in this area, "said Minister Alexandru Jizdan.
In turn, the head of the PGI, Alexandru Pînzari, appreciated and encouraged the collaboration between our institutions with foreign partners.
The course will take place during this week and will be supported by 6 trainers from the United States, specialists from the Internal Security Investigation Agency, Human Smuggling Investigations, and also attached from ICE Vienna.
