Moldova's Prime Minister to attend CIS heads of states reunion
Premier Pavel Filip will today attend the reunion of the leaders of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). The event will start in the afternoon in the Kyrgyz capital. The Government’s chief is to meet several heads of states.
Later, Pavel Filip will discuss issues concerning strengthening the cooperation among the CIS states.
The participants plan to adopt several cooperation programs. The discussions will continue on Saturday in an informal format. Moldova has been a CIS member state since 1991. The organization consists of 11 countries.
