New and modern medical equipment for the Emergency Department of Cahul district hospital
Residents of Cahul, requiring immediate medical attention, will be treated more quickly and efficiently. The Department of Emergency of the Cahul District Hospital has been equipped with the latest medical equipment. The works lasted five years and cost over 16 million lei.
Patients are satisfied with the new conditions. Thanks to the new devices, as well as refurbished space, doctors will save more lives.
Renovation is worth of over two million lei. The surgery room has been refurbished.
The work was funded by the German government, the National Center for Health Insurance and local authorities. Some of the money was obtained through the Moldovan-Swiss program "REPEMOL". Annually, the Department of Emergency Medicine in Cahul serves almost 25,000 patients.
