Chisinau mayor Dorin Chirtoaca will stay under house arrest the coming 30 days.
The secretary of the Chişinău Municipal Council, Valeriu Didencu, will stay 20 days under house arrest, while the chief of the Transport Department Igor Gamreţchi and the councilor Oleg Oniscenco will also pass 25 days under house arrest.
The decisions have been uttered by a Chisinau court.
All of them are probed for graft in a deal hiring an Austrian firm to build paid parking lots in the city.
Named Parkleitsystem, the company was created just a month before the city hall announced its bid for parking lots in September 2015.
