Number of weekly acute respiratory infections and influenza increases by over 1/3 in Chisinau

The number of cases of acute respiratory infections and influenza increased by 36 percent last week. 

According to the deputy mayor of Chisinau Inga Ionesii, between January 27 and February 2, 3340 cases of viruses were registered. Only 8 of 138 cases of suspected influenza were confirmed. 

Death cases were not registered.
