October brings new agreement with IMF. Pirkka Tapiola's statement on issue
Moldova is likely to ink a new agreement with the International Monetary Fund in October. The statement has been made by the head of the EU Delegation to Moldova, Pirkka Tapiola, at a donation of cars to the Moldovan police.
"Speaking about the budget support program, I can’t help talking about the importance of the priority actions in the circumstance wherein the IMF can reach an agreement regarding a program with Moldova in October, he said.
The economic reforms program is to be implemented three years and provides for a disbursement of $179 million.
The loan will be channeled to insure macroeconomic stability needed for the economic growth facilitation reforms.
