Chisinau Acting Mayor Silvia Radu has assured the citizens that the General Directorate of Public Transport and Communication will work non-stop, as the State Hydrometeorological Service has issued Orange Warning of sleet. 

"All departments which are responsible for the roads have been on full alert. EXDRUPO and General Directorate of Public Transport and Communication will work non-stop. During the night there will be actions for scattering the anti-slip material on the road.

 In total, 45 specialized vehicles are involved during the process, including:
- 15 Kamaz specialized vehicles
- a Mercedes Benz specialized vehicles 
- 12 brush and blade tractors
- 4 T-150 tractors (high blade)
- a K700 tractor
- 4 motor graders 

We made the decision to work all night and the necessary numbers of anti-skid material to be scattered, "said interim mayor of Chisinau, Silvia Radu.
