Over 1400 Moldovans to be repatriated home in the coming days
Over 1400 Moldovans will be repatriated home in the coming days. These are citizens included in the waiting lists of diplomatic missions and consular offices, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration.
These flights give priority to students, people in treatment and citizens in difficulty.
Between April 22 and 26, two Moldovan airlines will operate charter flights from Paris, Nice, Milan, Barcelona, London and Moscow. The flight schedule is displayed on the ministry's website.
Prime Minister Ion Chicu said that the number of flights could be increased because the data indicated a downward trend in new cases in Moldova.
"We'll further examine on these days the possibility of increasing the number of charter flights to help our citizens abroad to return home".
