Two out of ten persons infected with COVID-19 are medical workers, the Health Minister Viorica Dumbrăveanu said in a press conference. Until now there are 635 laboratory confirmed cases of coronavirus on medical workers. 

42 percent of the patients are nurses, 30% - the auxiliary staff, 26% - doctors, 2% - pharmacists, according to the data.

PUBLIKA.MD reminds that five medical workers have died of coronavirus including Ecaterina Litvinschi (died on March 27), 79 years old, who worked at the Emergency Reception Point in Cricova and Ludmila Caraion who worked in Emergency Department in Soroca and died a few days later.
