Over 1,500 cases of acute respiratory infections registered in Transnistrian region

Quarantine has been set in the Transnistrian region due to the number of acute respiratory viral infections. The statement was made by the deputy chief doctor of the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology in Tiraspol, Valeri Onilov.
According to him, last week,over 1,500 such cases have been registered in Tiraspol. Of these about 30 are influenza and over 50 - pneumonia.
Therefore, over four kindergartens and a school class have been closed. Public transport have been disinfected.
National Center for Public Health data shows that last week, there were 20 cases of flu. The flu outbreak is decreasing, from 3,079 cases to 1,834.
