Over 300 young soldiers from Chisinau have taken today their oath of enlistment in the presence of the National Army commanding body, parents and relatives.
During the ceremony, Commander of the National Army, Brigadier General Igor Cutie has congratulated the 250 soldiers who swore to defend their homeland and requested from them responsibility, loyalty and hard work.
"I will wait for you to join our standing army, after you finish the mandatory military service, to create a modern army that Republic of Moldova deserves. We, who represent today the commanding body of the National Army, will make sure that you have all conditions available, according to the international standards" Igor Cutie said.
At the same time, in Dănceni, another 86 young people from the Anti-Air Missile Regiment have sworn today their loyalty to the country, at the event being present Director of the National Army General Staff, Colonel Eduard Ohladciuc.
During the ceremony, guests enjoyed a demonstration program for melee combat.
After taking the oath, the soldiers will benefit from four days of leave, later being spread among the units of the National Army. The military service lasts 12 months.
