Pavel Filip: Public Service Agency is already fully functional
Citizens should be able to receive quality services, offered by a single window, in a single institution, by presenting only their ID cards. The declaration was made by PM Pavel Filip, during a press conference held this week by PDM.
"Today a new plan was forwarded to modify the Public Service Agency. The principle is to create a single office, with a single operator and working based solely on the ID card. We are not going to rush into it though, but we strongly believe that the project will please the citizens" Chief of the Cabinet of Ministers declared.
At the same time, Pavel Filip has also mentioned that people need to know what benefits this institution can bring: "This agency is already fully functional. When we say that only the ID card is needed, we mean that citizens do not need to present any other documents. Once all the services are offered by a single window, people can come solely with their ID cards".
PUBLIKA reminds that the Public Service Agency was established by the Government at the end of April 2017. The organization has taken over the functions of State Chamber of Registration, "Cadastru" State Enterprise and of Civil Status Service.
Earlier, Iurie Ciocan, the director of Center for Reforms Implementation, has declared that this new agency should provide cheaper services.
