Pavel Filip, devastated by situation in central park: We are just destroying it!
Pavel Filip urged the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research urgently to take the necessary measures to protect the cultural and historical monuments, including the Alley of Classics, which is in the heart of capital.
"What I've seen: stalls, counters everywhere, traders in the park, the Alley of Classics is basically destroyed. I don't think that is right in the central park.
"I will come up with a request, first of all to Mrs. Babuc, regarding some firm actions for the protection of cultural and historical monuments and a priority area in the city center but also the other institutions that have these attributions such as PGI, ANSA, FISC and the Public Health Center, you have to check what is happening in the Central Park, "said Premier Pavel Filip.
The prime minister also said that he had asked the interim mayor general to observe the situation in capital center.
