President Igor Dodon met with OSCE Special Representative for Transnistrian settlement
The head of state Igor Dodon met with the OSCE Special Representative for the Transnistrian settlement process, Thomas Mayr-Harting, who is on a three-day working visit to Moldova. The head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova, Claus Neukirch, also attended the meeting.
During the meeting, officials discussed a wide range of issues on the current Transnistrian conflict settlement agenda.
"We discussed a wide range of issues on the current agenda of the settlement of the Transnistrian conflict. In particular, we talked about the problems of free movement of our citizens across the Dniester, about the functioning of the banking system, telecommunications, etc.
I highly appreciated the role of the OSCE as the main platform for negotiations, expressing gratitude for the support given in the process of bringing together the positions of the two banks of the Dniester, for the good of the citizens, "Igor Dodon wrote on his Facebook page.
