PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS: Irregularities noticed by international observers

International monitors find the Moldovan elections as having unfolded without essential drawbacks and the citizens’ right to vote was insured in accordance with the election law.
However the observers detected irregularities that must be removed till the next ballot. They have mentioned using administrative resources and lack of unbiasedness displayed by media.
Another problem is viewed by experts to be the access of the disabled to polling stations.
The international observing mission gathers 280 monitors from 41 countries, representing the OSCE, the PACoE, the European Parliament.
CIS observers have also presented a report on the Moldovan presidential poll.
