Prime Minister Pavel Filip met with new Ambassador of the Kuwait State to Moldova
Moldova - Kuwait relations optimization in areas of common interest was discussed today between Moldovan Prime Minister Pavel Filip and new Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Moldova, residing in Bucharest, Talal Mansour Al-Hajri.
Prime Minister Pavel Filip welcomed the diplomat's visit to Chisinau, expressing his accreditation as Ambassador in our country would boost the partnership between the Republic of Moldova and the State of Kuwait.
"We want relations between our countries to become more and more tight. A very important direction in this regard is economic cooperation, "the prime minister said.
The sides emphasized the effective collaboration between countries could be strengthened only by bilateral visits including of businessmen. In this context, Kuwait Ambassador enunciated the mutual interests could be fields of agriculture, alimentary security, tourism.
Likewise, Talal Mansour Al-Hajri declared his country would welcome bilateral relations with Moldova, including the project aimed at improve Moldovan citizens' welfare, named Kuwaiti Fund for Economic Development.
In turn, Pavel Filip promoted the opportunities for foreign investors in Moldova, especially IT domain. Also, the head of the Cabinet of Ministers invited the Kuwaiti entrepreneurs to participate in the privatization process in our country.
