Sleet and strong wind caused chaos last evening in Căușeni district. Representatives from Civil Protection and Exceptional Situations Service claim that most affected was Chircăiești village.

While in Săiţi village, three cattle passed away after stepping on some fallen electric cables and being electrocuted.

At the moment, authorities have not yet estimated the damages caused by the calamity.

This will be later done today by a team of experts who will pay a visit to the district.

From the pictures posted on the internet can be seen how the streets were nearly buried in sleet.
