SMURD opens new centre in Edinet
SMURD is closer to Moldovan patients. A new center of the Reanimation and Extrication Emergency Mobile Service was opened yesterday in Edinet. It will take over the emergency situations in the northern districts of Moldova.
This is the third SMURD centre opened in Moldova. Here will work 13 paramedics, which were trained for five weeks.
Over 25,000 people from the northern part will benefit from the services of the centre.
The radius of the intervention of the crew from Edinet is on a distance of 20 kilometers from the locality.
Other two SMURD centres were opened in 2014 in Balti and Cahul.
The Emergency Situations Service also plans to open such a centre in Comrat.
