Terrible images on the Chisinau - Balti route, near the village of Coşcodeni in Sîngerei district.

A road tanker full of 30 tons of gasoline caught fire. The flames started after the car dipped off the trail and collided with a tree.

The accident happened this morning around 7:00. Firefighters intervened with six trucks to fight the huge flames.

"At least, from the first information, we know that the driver did not suffer," Liliana Puscasu, spokesperson for IGSU, said.

Specialists are to determine all the circumstances of the accident.
