TODAY Romanian Government unlocks first 60 mln euros loan
The Ciolos government will release today the first part of the 150 million euros loan.
The Executive will consider the draft decisions approving the amendment agreed upon by exchange of letters between the Ministries of Finance on both sides of the Prut, writes Deschide.md .
Documents between the two ministries were signed in Chisinau on 19 July 2016 and in Bucharest on 22 July 2016 and were attached to the Agreement on reimbursable financial assistance between Romania and Moldova, signed on October 7 2015, in Chisinau.
The decision comes following the exchange of letters between the Prime Ministers of Romania and Moldova signed in Chisinau on 18 July 2016 and on 29 July 2016 and in Bucharest on July 21, 2016.
Remember that the Romanian Government decided to allocate Moldova a loan of 150 million euros at a preferential rate, that has been blocked for several months because of lack of reforms and agreement with the IMF.
