Turkey pledges further support for Moldova on economy, security and free movement
Premier Pavel Filip conducted a meeting today with Turkey Ambassador to Moldova, Hulusi Kiliç. The officials discussed bilateral collaboration extension, emphasis on Chisinau's visit of Turkish Premier, Binali Yıldırım, in May 2017.
At the beginning of meeting, Executive Chief thanked to Turkish part for supporting projects for priority domains and emphasized on further bilateral dialogues.
"We have already an agreement on free travel visas, now I hope we start negotiating further agreement on amble civil circulation regarding green cards. As we have seen, our relations are on good progress", said Premier.
In this context, Pavel Filip mentioned the recent approval of agreement ratification regarding social security of amble national citizens. Likewise, he emphasized good results in economic dimension, for period January - June 2017, with increase of commercial exchange by 17%
"Apreciem investițiile turcești în Republica Moldova, avem multe companii cu capital turcesc și sperăm că se simt bine aici, iar Forumul de afaceri moldo-turc, din luna mai curent, a demonstrat că există potențial pe acest segment”, a adăugat Pavel Filip.
"We appreciate Turkish investment in Moldova. We so far have lots of company with Turkish capital. Moreover, we hope the Moldova-Turkey business Forum in this May did demonstrate the potential in this section", added Pavel Filip.
Ambassador Hulusi Kiliç confirmed to continue encouraging Turkish entrepreneurs to launch investments in Moldova. Also, the diplomat pledged further support project benefiting Moldovan citizens, especially ones implemented in UTA Găgăuzia, such as reconstruction of hospitals in Comrat and problem solutions to potable water in Vulcănești city.
