Residents of Botanica sector were horrified to see unusual fire in March at the intersection of Traian and Grenoble streets. 

An eyewitness recorded the fire with billows of dense black smoke. 

High temperatures and wind strength made the fire spread quickly on a large surface and burned two cars. 

The Department of Emergency Situations did not comment until the cause of fire remains unknown. 

Vegetative fires are characteristic of the summer, not the beginning of the spring, which makes this incident uncommon.
