United States Department of the Treasury appreciates reforms implemented in Moldova
United States Department of the Treasury appreciates the way reforms are implemented in the fiscal services of Moldova. The institution's administration declared its optimism within a meeting with President of Moldovan Parliament Andrian Candu, who is currently paying an official visit to United States of America.
The U.S. officials ensured that consolidation of financial system of Republic of Moldova will continue to receive support. During the meeting in Washington, the delegation from Moldova, led by Andrian Candu, presented measures taken to combat money laundering and retrieve bank frauds, while the U.S. officials appreciated the initiatives.
Andrian Candu also participated at a parliamentary summit held by World Bank and International Monetary Fund, where all obligations toward IMF were reviewed. The economic growth and the good fiscal policy, which led to bigger revenues, were mentioned.
President of Moldovan Parliament will be in the United States of America to April 19.
