Number of virus infection has increased 25 per cent only in a week. According to Municipal Center of Public Health (CMSP), children are the most infected with around 1400 cases registered recently.

Besides, the number of infection might be higher as some cases do not come to the medical center. 

This also shows the number of absences recorded in the schools and preschools in the country, which in the past week exceeded nine thousand.

"If you have sick children, do not take them in the collective, leave them at home, call the family doctor, ask for medical assistance as that illness might be contagious," Luminiţa Suveică, head of CMSP, said.
