Urgent meeting at the Government. PM Filip requested actions to be taken to prevent any crisis
PM Pavel Filip has convoked an urgent meeting at the Government. The official requested continuous communication and efficient interaction among responsible authorities, in order to prevent any crises caused by the weather.
It was established that the state of the national roads is satisfactory, only in the South some roads being snowed in and frozen. To ensure that all highways are safe for usage, 306 tonnes of non-slip materials are being spread by 53 vehicles and 75 employees. At the moment no power outages took place in Moldova.
Here, Pavel Filip requested responsible authorities to take all measures to prevent crises, such as blocked streets. At the same time, it was urged for the number of police officers patrolling highways to be increased, so that citizens and homeless people will receive help faster.
Prime Minister asked for specialized institutions to be in permanent contact with local authorities, in order to manage more efficiently any situation that might arise.
