The victims of political repressions may benefit from the right to travel for free on public transport in the capital. An announcement was made by the City Hall.

The decision to introduce this category of persons in the list of people that have permission to travel free was adopted by the City Council.

To qualify for free travel in public transport, former deportees and political prisoners will have to present credentials.

Chisinau has about 2,500 people, victims of political repression.
