ERA (Efrim Roşca şi Asociaţii) announce that they took up the mandate of legal representation of Mr. Vladimir Plahotniuc. In relation to this mandate, the power to communicate the following was granted:

"Vladimir Plahotniuc doubts that the materials that were published yesterday are authentic, since it appears that it is a report that is almost fully based on articles published in political opponents' media outlets, lacking evidence to support what has been written.

Our client declares that he is not involved in what is suggested in this document and believes that the publication is just a manipulation, attempting to divert the investigation from real beneficiaries.

Mr. Plahotniuc doubts that the report is authentic, because it is highly unlikely that a company like Kroll would have developed such assumptions based on articles in press or based on the so-called confidential information, which, however, is not made available to the investigators. 

If the report proves to be authentic, Vladimir Plahotniuc is ready to demonstrate how inept the forced and utterlyerroneous connections with him are, and he is also ready to provide evidence to support each statement made.

Vladimir Plahotniuc has been heard on similar articles in press before, articles promoted by media outlets that belong to the political opponents, and he proved that they were wrong. He believes that these publications are manipulative actions of the political opponents, taken to continue political revenge and to distort the truth about banking fraud.
