26-year-old Romanian citizen Anastasia S., driving a BMW car registered in Spain, was to enter the country yesterday at Albita crossing point. 

Following a check, border police and customs workers found 12 liter of cognac (24 bottles x 0.5 liter Bardar brand) hidden in the spare wheel seat.

The entire amount of alcohol, worth 960 lei, was confiscated and the young woman was sanctioned with a fine of 5,000 lei.
