FIRST in Moldova. Sign language dictionary LAUNCHED

For the first time in our country, the sign language dictionary was launched. The dictionary has over 2,000 signs structured fields in Romanian, Russian and English. Signs are filled with images that make it accessible for everyone. The book is an important support for the language interpreters, doctors and social workers.
Doctors claim the communication will be more effective with the help of the advent of sign language dictionary.
The sign language dictionary in Moldova was launched on March 30th, and had over 300 copies printed.
300,000 lei were granted by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation in order to develop and print the dictionaries.
