The employees of the Section transport surveillance and road circulation from within the Police Direction of Chişinău municipality have intervened at the documentation of 38 accidents resulting in material damages, three road accidents resulting in injured persons, as well as 10 road accidents with the leaving of the accident’s place during the last 24 hours.

The causes that lead to the producing of road accidents were, according to the men of law:

• The change of the driving direction without the driver to insure;
• Non-respecting of the distance between cars during the driving, which leads to backward;
• Non-release of passing in intersections or ignorance of the application of the rule "of the right hand";
• non-respecting of the driving speed.

The policemen have already applied sanctions concerning 26 drivers, as fines in sum of 900 lei till 1.500 lei and in total - 130 penalty points. The drivers who left the accident’s place risk to be deprived of driving transport means on a term from 2 years till 3 years.

There were registered 97 road accidents with the leaving of the place, of which were identified 47 drivers, and the materials accumulated by the policemen were submitted to the court for their sanctioning with the deprivation of the right to drive transport means on a term from 2 yers till 3 years.

6 employees of the Section surveillance transport and road circulation participated to 8 court meetings regarding the sanctioning of the drivers guilty for the producing of rad accidents registered previously.
