Moldovans trust First House program: Requesters increase 20 percent since its launch
First House becomes more and more popular. Since the project is launched, number of requesters has increased 20 percent.
"A lot of requests. People are contacting me on Facebook or calling me. Every two customers wants to buy apartment through this program", said Pavel Borta, real estate agent.
An apartment of 50 square meters, which is partially furnished, costs 40,000 euros.
"In order to buy this one-room apartment under the First House program, you will have to pay the first installment of 4,000 euros and you will pay 300 euros a month. The apartment is located in the Botanica Sector of Chisinau and was built last year. "
According to union of company in the field, the First House program will boost the real estate market.
"We're collaborating with the directors of the banks. We have a positive sign that the Union of Real Estate Agencies has signed a partnership with UTM, since May we will provide courses for the representatives of the real estate agencies", said Andrian Toderaşcu, president of the Union of Real Estate Agencies.
The First House program can be filed with citizens aged up to 45, officially employed, who do not have other real estate nor other mortgages.
The salary must be at least twice the monthly rate and the state will guarantee 50% of the credit balance. The cost of housing should not exceed one million lei, and the initial rate is 10 percent of the price.
