Romania's Transgaz has signed other necessary contracts to build gas pipeline Ungheni-Chisinau. 

Moldovan Economy Minister Chiril Gaburici said this significant project is to ensure country's energy security. 

"Once this gas pipeline is started, Republic of Moldova have alternative energy supply. This helps us prevent being dependent on any company or country", said Chiril Gaburici.
